Our origins – VISITS in schools
VISITS was founded in 1999 with a single focus: delivering enterprise-grade IT support to Victorian schools, having successfully responded to a government tender.
Our name – VISITS – was an abbreviation of 'Victorian In-School Information Technology Services'. Although we have dropped the long version of our name, our Schools business continues to be a core division of our business. Read more about our IT for Schools services.
The Corporate Division is born
VISITS’ Corporate division commenced operations in 2001. Demand for the quality of IT service and support we provided was high and VISITS grew rapidly over the ensuing few years.
Always an innovator in both products and services, in 2005 we introduced a revolution to the Australian IT service market - true fixed price IT managed services for SMB's. It was a welcome development for clients, with guaranteed IT outcomes and no financial risk.
We continued to experience significant growth between 2005 and 2010, increasing our client base and introducing new products and services. During this time we launched into the enterprise market, delivering tailored Managed IT Services to larger organisations with hundreds of staff spread across broader geographical areas.
In 2010 we took our next big leap – opening our first interstate office in Sydney, allowing VISITS to service a much broader geographic market and support our increasing number of national clients. Our interstate expansion continued in 2012 with the opening of our Perth office.
Our clients now included small single site businesses with 20 staff, through to large companies with 500+ staff across dozens of sites nationally.
Refreshing our brand
In 2012, we refreshed our brand with a new logo, new corporate colours and a new tagline. Our new brand reflected the changes we had gone through and our future, ongoing commitment to partnering closely with our clients.

Our new Head Office
2012 also saw us searching for a long-term home, with room to expand as we need it. We are now very much at home in our modern, spacious and employee and client-friendly office, located at the junction of Melbourne’s beautiful boulevard – St Kilda Road - and the renowned tourist precinct of St Kilda.
